Hello Phenomenal B… Ladies,
We are embarking upon a season that is supposed to be filled with cheer and happiness. Families, friends and loved ones get together and create great memories. This is a beautiful time of year, only it’s not all of that for everyone. Unfortunately this is also the time of year when we see the most suicides. Many have lost loved ones and are filled with loneliness while they spend this joyous time of year alone. Spending this time of year alone only with memories can bring on some extremely hard feelings to cope with. So as we go into this holiday remember to check on friends, family and acquaintances. Let’s make this the season of reaching out. Make some phone calls just to say “hi, I’ve been thinking about you”. Invite someone you haven’t spent time with in a while to lunch. Buy a stranger a cup of coffee. The smallest gesture can bring great joy to someone’s heart, it may also be the bridge between their life and death. It’s the season to spread love, joy and kindness. If you are feeling alone or sad this holiday season please call a friend, family member or reach out for help to a counselor or therapist. We have to take control of our mental health. Life be life’ing Sis and sometimes it gets hard and there is nothing wrong with talking to someone and expressing yourself and your feelings. Please never let it get to the point where you need to take some type of vice to deal with your feelings or worse, let it get to the point where you want to hurt yourself or have ideas of ending your life. Just remember “This too shall pass”. Your are Phenomenal and you are phenomenally made. Live it up. Take care of your mental health and keep going. And, don’t forget to keep looking Phenomenal while you do it. Try some retail therapy. You know the old adage, “When you look good, you feel good”.
I love you, you Phenomenal B…….
Happiest of holidays to you💕
